An outstanding addition
to the most highly regarded line-up of performance sportfishing
boats in the world, the Cabo 48 brings a superb layout which allows
for three spacious staterooms and two heads. Indeed, the 48's
design stems directly from feedback and requests from Cabo owners.
What's more, the first three hulls were sold to customers who
wanted a boat with three staterooms , but only if it had the Cabo
name and everything that came with it. It speaks volumes
that Cabo yachts are held in such high regard that customers return
asking for boats that Cabo hasn't made yet simply because these
sportsmen won't buy from any other builder. Customer loyalty and
trust in Cabo quality? You bet!
A true sportfishing machine
What else you can count on is the same outstanding performance
and handling characteristics as the 48's forerunner, the Cabo
47 Flybridge.
Step into the
cockpit and it's immediately apparent why she's the perfect platform for
fishing or cruising with friends or family. The cockpit is large
with room
for multiple anglers to maneuver their fish to the corners. The attention
to detail is evidence that Cabo has listened well to the needs
of tournament anglers.
The placement of essentials
like bait freezers, livewells, drawers for rigging tools,
cabinets for gaff and bait nets - all are well thought out by
experienced
blue water anglers. Twin fish boxes are molded into the cockpit
sole and equipped with in-line macerators, full length piano
hinges, gas struts and rubber gaskets.
Padded bolsters ring the cockpit for extra comfort and security
when using a standup rig.
Lures and rigging equipment
are easily organized in drawers at the rigging station, which
includes a prep sink, bait chest and optional bait freezer.

Port and starboard cabinets
running nearly the length of the cockpit provide additional
storage. The livewell, located in the transom to minimize intrusion
into valuable cockpit space, features a waist height opening and
is lit for nighttime use.

Life aboard
When the last fish is in the box and the next item on the
agenda is how best to cook the catch that was put on ice only
hours ago, there couldn't be a better choice than the Cabo 48.
Appointments, materials and craftsmanship are on par with those
of the finest custom yachts. Starboard side dining table and portside
settee mean space for all to spread out. Located midships, the
galley will handle everything from fish tacos to gourmet fish
dishes.
Moving forward from the
salon to midship, you'll find the master stateroom with private
head portside. A crew cabin with twin berths is located starboard.
The guest stateroom and head are forward. Each of the Cabo
48's cabins feature abundant storage, cedar lined hanging lockers
and fully opening drawers. Without a doubt, the Cabo 48 Flybridge
is built for serious sportsmen who crave 5-star accommodations,
a 40+ mph top speed* and
a highly competitive 550+ mile range.
