In 2002 the Cabo 40 Express became the newest offering from Cabo Yachts, joining an elite group of sportfishermen with an astonishing owner satisfaction rate of 98% , according to data from a 2002 National Marine Manufacturers Association Consumer Satisfaction survey. Among any product made, this level of consumer satisfaction is virtually unheard of strong testament to the commitment to quality and customer satisfaction that is an integral part of the Cabo Yachts philosophy. This same data shows quality, workmanship, hull design and dependability as the four most important attributes of Cabo Yachts.

What more could one ask for? Not just the next new Cabo, the development of the 40 Express was clearly an undertaking of very special circumstance. Fish Time
The Cabo 40 Express is a full-on fishing machine, with over 100 square feet of cockpit - more than you'll find on any boat this size, and even many larger boats. Huge 5 foot fishboxes are located port and starboard, and equipped with in line macerators for trouble-free operation. An aft swinging transom door with top gate is mounted with massive custom built stainless steel hinges and door latch to withstand a lifetime of hard fishing.

Note that each of the 46 bolt heads on the door hardware is meticulously turned to the same angle - yet another example of the attention to detail that goes into every part of a Cabo Yacht.

Wide padded gunnels allow angle mounted rod holders and provide full foot room underneath to lock into that big fish. Side decks are wide enough for quick trips forward for bow casting bait on a tailing marlin or following a big tuna around the boat. The 40 Express is a very well thought out yacht, and the workmanship is Cabo all the way.

Handcrafted woodwork throughout the boat is on par with what you'd find in the finest custom home. The galley is fully equipped for five star cuisine, or for just feeding a hungry crew. Corian countertops with sea rails, twin cooktops, convection microwave,                        refrigerator/freezer and under counter sinks are all functional and easy to clean at the end of the trip.

Space below deck offers comfort and room to relax at day's end. The starboard settee comfortably seats six and converts to an upper and lower berth. The master stateroom features a large island double berth with ample drawer and locker storage below. You can stow 10 rods in lockers located port and starboard, and the cedar lined hanging closet offers additional storage.
